Who we are
SHAMISO is a UK business supplying scalp and hair oil direct to customers and to trade. Our contact email is shamisoandco@gmail.com. Our geographic correspondence address is given in your order confirmation and on request. These terms apply to orders placed through shamiso.uk.
Ordering
Our website works on an enquiry basis. When you send an order request it is an offer to buy, not a completed sale. We reply with availability, the total price including delivery, and payment details. A contract is formed when we confirm your order and receive payment. If a batch has sold out we will tell you the next available date instead of taking payment.
Price and payment
Prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any applicable taxes unless we say otherwise. Delivery is quoted separately. Payment is taken before dispatch through our payment provider. We do not store your card details.
Delivery
We post within the United Kingdom. Dispatch windows are confirmed when we reply to your order, because we make in small batches. Risk passes to you on delivery. If a parcel arrives damaged or does not arrive, contact us and we will replace or refund it, in line with your statutory rights.
Your right to cancel
As a consumer you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, without giving a reason. Email us to cancel. Refunds are made within 14 days of the goods coming back, using the same payment method you used.
For hygiene reasons, this right does not apply once a sealed cosmetic product has been unsealed or opened, unless the goods are faulty. Unopened bottles can be returned. You pay the return postage unless the item is faulty. Keep proof of posting.
Faulty or incorrect goods
If the oil arrives damaged, leaks, or is not what you ordered, email us within 30 days of delivery. We will replace it or refund you, including your postage. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in full and nothing in these terms limits them.

Email shamisoandco@gmail.com. We aim to respond within one working day and to resolve the issue, or explain honestly why we cannot, as quickly as possible.
Cosmetic product, not a medicine
SHAMISO is a cosmetic product for external use on hair and scalp. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or scalp condition. Patch test before first use. If you have a scalp condition, a diagnosed allergy or are pregnant or breastfeeding and unsure, speak to your GP or pharmacist first.
Liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Otherwise our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for a delay or failure outside our control.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the courts of Scotland have jurisdiction, unless you live elsewhere in the UK and choose the courts of your own part of the UK.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
